  • Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) - Includes gestational surrogacy, traditional surrogacy, surrogacy, in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg donation, sperm donation, gestational carriers, and artificial insemination.
  • Gestational Surrogacy - In vitro fertilization is used. Embryos are created at reproductive clinics. The biological mother's fertilized egg or the egg donor's fertilized egg is transferred and implanted in the gestational carrier's uterus.
  • Traditional Surrogacy - Surrogate's egg is fertilized by artificial insemination.
  • Ovum (Egg) Donation - Widely used for older Intended Parents; very possible; wonderful egg donors available through reproductive clinics and egg donation agencies
  • Semen (Sperm) Donation
  • Intended Parents - Intended parents must address legal and contractual issues concerning parental rights, pre-birth orders, birth certificate matters, passports, communication, confidentiality, accessibility, and other rights and obligations of the surrogate/carrier and Intended Parents.
  • Adoption - Includes domestic adoption of children and adults, stepparent adoptions, co-parent adoptions, and relative adoptions.
